Policies for Small or Low Risk Companies

 
This basic policy, usually no more than 3 or 4 pages, identifies briefly the who, how and when of managing health and safety. It is most suitable for very small organisations or those with low risks and is useful when inducting new employees to the organisation. A copy may be given to each employee, and it can be placed on a notice board.

We offer a service which includes carrying out risk assessments on your workplace and activities and preparing a policy. This enables the policy and the risk assessments to be integrated. A number of the actions required to reduce risks are likely to include employees being given instructions, which can then be included in the policy.
